Dove Award-winning songwriter, Paul Baloche, has written hundreds of worship songs. “Open the Eyes of My Heart,” “Above All,” “Hosanna,” “Your Name,” and many others have become church favorites throughout the world. As a respected songwriter and teacher, Paul travels the world teaching and leading others in worship. Through Leadworship.com, he developed a series of teaching DVD’s designed to help worship teams increase their skill and confidence in leading others in worship. Paul has served as the Worship Pastor at Community Christian Fellowship in Texas for over 20 years where he lives with his family.
Ben Gowell is a session guitarist, producer, and worship leader. He has played on many studio recordings, including projects by Paul Baloche, Michael W. Smith, Sara Groves, and others. He has been Paul’s electric guitar player for 10 years and co-produced Paul’s last 4 projects. Ben has taught electric guitar workshops at worship seminars across the globe. He currently serves as the Music Director at Christ Church of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona.
Carl has been a professional drummer and percussionist for over 30 years. He has played on over 80 Integrity Music projects and uncountable Christian and mainstream projects. He has been Paul’s drummer for over 15 years. A list of artists Carl has played with would take a separate page. Carl is a sought-after drums and percussion instructor and has produced a series of excellent drum DVD’s.
Michael Rossback is a multi-talented musician, songwriter, and music producer with a wide variety of interests. He has been Paul’s bass player and background vocalist for 8 years and also does studio work for many artists and bands operating from his studio in Colorado Springs.
Among others, Michael has played with The Desperation Band and The Michael Gungor Band.
Tom Brooks is best known for his work as Producer, Arranger, Engineer, and Keyboardist on the award winning “Hosanna Music” Praise & Worship series from Integrity Music. Tom has produced well over 100 albums, several receiving Gold and Platinum status, plus Grammy and GMA Dove Award honors.
He has worked with Paul Baloche since Paul’s first CD and also worked with Israel Houghton, Kirk Whalum, Alan Parsons, and many, many others. He has written, arranged, and produced music for television, industrial film scores, and advertising music for many of the nation’s leading companies. He lives in Southern California with his wife Cheri’ and their five children.
Dr. Jamie Hillman is a multi-faceted musician, vocalist, pianist, conductor, music educator, and composer/arranger. He currently serves as assistant professor of music at Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
Jamie’s choral compositions have been premiered and performed in Asia, Europe, and North America by ensembles including the Amadeus Choir of Greater Toronto, Boston Children’s Chorus, Calgary Girls Choir, and many others.
Jamie holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario (London, Canada) the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Boston University. Dr. Hillman is the 2012 laureate of the Leslie Bell Prize for Choral Conducting from the Ontario Arts Council.
He resides in the Boston area.
John Willis has mixed live sound for 80 people in the smallest of churches and for 80,000 in arena venues around the world. He is the owner of PHG, the largest audio and video production company in Northern Ireland. John is an expert at providing practical and straightforward answers to complex audio issues related to mixing worship bands in a a church setting.
